Creed Aventus Dupes: We Tested 10, Only 4 Cleared

The short answer: of ten popular Creed Aventus alternatives, four clear our 85% floor. The closest is Montagne Parfums Pineapple Intense EDP at 89% (about $55). The most tested and easiest to find is Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man EDP at 88%, for about $30 against Aventus at $435. Two famous “Aventus clones” turned out to copy a different fragrance entirely.

The four that cleared

#1  ·  $55  ·  Chypre Fruity

Montagne Parfums Pineapple Intense EDP

89%
BergamotAppleBlack CurrantPineappleMoroccan JasmineJuniper BerriesRoseBirchPatchouliOak MossAmbergrisMusk

Eleven of Aventus's twelve notes — the pineapple, blackcurrant and apple opening, the birch and jasmine heart, the oakmoss and ambergris base. Only the vanilla is missing. That is the most complete note match of any Aventus alternative we hold, Club de Nuit Intense included. Montagne names its target on its own product page, and specifically: the 2016 batches of Aventus, which many owners consider the smokier, more fruit-forward vintage before later reformulations. Reddit's verdict, repeated so widely it has become a byword, is that it is scary close. Two honest caveats keep it at 89 rather than higher. That evidence is the brand's own claim plus a community phrase, not a detailed side-by-side from someone who owns both. And it needs two to three months of maturation before it performs properly — a fresh bottle will disappoint, and several owners say so.

#2  ·  $30  ·  Fruity Chypre

Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man EDP

88%
PineappleBergamotBlackcurrantAppleJasmineRoseBirchPatchouliAmbergrisMuskVanilla

The most famous Aventus alternative and the most tested, at about $30 — but not the closest, and we revised its score from 94 to 88 in September 2026 to say so. Owners of both agree on the opening. A Basenotes owner who compared them side by side says it opens exactly like his M01 and W01 batches of Aventus, with one difference: a noticeable lemony note Aventus does not have. German verified buyers put it more bluntly — lemon where Aventus has pineapple. They disagree about where it drifts. A collector of twelve years who owns both puts it at 80 to 85 per cent on the opening and heart, with the widest gap in the drydown, where several buyers say it turns smoky and jasmine-heavy and loses the fruit. Another owner goes lower, about 70 per cent, closer to 80 once it dries down. Batch matters more than with almost any fragrance: one long-time buyer calls his 2016 bottles better than Aventus and a 2019 bottle cheap and synthetic. So why not lower? Because nobody who owns both argues it is not an Aventus dupe — one reviewer who tested them together says only minor details are missing, and performance matches the original at seven to nine hours. Pineapple Intense scores a point higher on a near-complete note match and the brand's own claim, but its evidence is thinner. If you want the proven, easy-to-find choice, this is it.

Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense Extrait

86%
Black CurrantBergamotAppleOak MossPatchouliLavenderAmbergrisMuskSaffron

The one Aventus alternative that genuinely divides people, and its note list explains why. It shares seven of Aventus's twelve notes but lacks the two that define it — no pineapple and no birch — with lavender and saffron in their place and oakmoss pushed forward. So it reads mossy and earthy where Aventus reads fruity and smoky. Owners pull both ways. A Fragrantica reviewer finds it closer to Aventus than to Nishane Hacivat and smoother than Club de Nuit Intense; an eBay buyer calls it virtually a one-to-one clone of a smoky, fruity batch of classic Aventus. Against that, a detailed comparison says plainly that it is not a perfect copy — denser, greener, darker and more aggressive. The honest summary is that it sits between Aventus and Hacivat, which is why it scores 86 here and not higher. If you want Aventus specifically, look above. If you like the Aventus DNA but want something deeper and mossier, this is the better buy. It is an extrait, and performance is exceptional.

Afnan Supremacy Silver EDP

85%
PineappleBlack CurrantBergamotAppleBirchPatchouliMoroccan JasmineRoseMuskOakmossAmbergrisVanilla

Note pyramid is nearly identical to Creed Aventus, with all key signature molecules (pineapple, birch, ambergris, oakmoss) present. Community verdict is honestly split -- ScentClones 2026 blind tests rate 90-95% after 4-8 weeks of maceration, but out-of-box reviews consistently flag a synthetic-leaning pineapple opening and less sophistication in the top notes compared to Aventus. Sits at the 85% floor: real dupe DNA, real gaps. Longevity is a strength (8-11 hours per 2026 blind testing), not the weakness earlier reviews suggested.

The six that did not — and why

This is the part most dupe lists leave out. Each of these appears in other Aventus round-ups. None cleared ours.

L'Aventure · Al Haramain

The most surprising result here, because it is one of the most recommended Aventus clones on the internet. Its published pyramid shares four of Aventus's twelve notes and none of its fruit — no pineapple, no black currant, no apple, no birch. One owner puts it at 95% after maceration; another smells only lime and pine. The explanation that reconciles them is an owner's own: it clones the newer, weaker Aventus without birch. If that is the Aventus you like, it may suit you. If you want the smoky fruit the name is famous for, it will not deliver it.

Asad · Lattafa

Listed in many Aventus round-ups, including an earlier version of this page. Our own research files it as a Dior Sauvage Elixir dupe, and that is where it belongs — a spiced amber, not a fruity chypre. Recommending it for Aventus was simply wrong, and we have corrected it.

Club de Nuit Milestone · Armaf

Another holdover from the earlier version, which also credited it to the wrong house. It is Armaf's, and it is a Hugo Boss Bottled alternative, not an Aventus one.

Tres Nuit · Armaf

Frequently sold as an Aventus alternative. Owners are blunt that it is not — it is one of the best-known clones of Creed Green Irish Tweed, a violet-and-iris freshie with none of Aventus's pineapple or smoke.

Zenith · Riiffs

Popular on TikTok as an Aventus pick. We could not find a single comparison from anyone who owns both, or a reliable note pyramid. No evidence, no entry.

King Aventus · Pendora Scents

The name does a lot of work. We found no owner comparisons and no published pyramid to test against. Same standard as Zenith: until someone who owns both says so, it does not go in.

A correction. An earlier version of this page, from June 2026, recommended ten dupes without our current standard and listed Lattafa Asad and Armaf Milestone as Aventus alternatives. Our own database files both as dupes of other fragrances. This version replaces it. In September 2026 we also revised Club de Nuit Intense Man from 94% to 88%: its earlier score had no documented basis, and owners of both put it lower.

How we score. Every pyramid comes from Fragrantica or the brand’s own page, never a retailer. The percentage weighs what people who own both report above the note list. Nothing under 85% appears. Every dupe above is also on our Creed Aventus dupes page with the same scores.
