Nine notes against nine, and they are the same nine in the same order — an exact reconstruction on paper. Owners bear it out. One who has the Bond says simply that Moon is very close to it, and rates the house highly across Full House, Wildcard and this. Another smelled the real New York Nights for the first time after buying Moon and calls himself genuinely shocked at how close it is. A third says ridiculously close, then adds the least expected warning on this site: he stopped wearing it because of the wasps it attracted. Now the honest counterweight, and it is about balance rather than accuracy: one owner finds it a patchouli bomb, with the coffee and the florals lost underneath, and understands why others describe a nail-polish-remover edge. He still enjoys it, but it is not the smooth gourmand floral the note list suggests. One source note: a single retailer publishes a completely different pyramid for Moon — bergamot, cardamom, lavender, iris, violet, leather. Fragrantica, Jo Milano's own product page and four other retailers agree on the version above, so that is the one we used. A warning that applies across the Jo Milano line: a buyer of the nine-piece sample set from a reputable retailer reports the scents did not match the notes on the box or on Fragrantica, several were headache-inducing, one had no scent at all, and Jo Milano never replied when asked whether the set was genuine. Full bottles review far better, so this may be specific to the sample sets — but buy where returns are accepted.
