Six of Tygar's nine notes, and the evidence is better than most on this page because it is comparative. One owner calls it an accurate Tygar clone with great longevity, and gives the detail that makes it credible: sprayed at six in the morning for a work trip, still detectable coming home near ten at night. Another judges it directly against a dupe already listed here — absolutely better than Turathi Blue in every way, better blended, better lasting. Two things to weigh against that. A different owner of both gives a more careful comparison: the opening is the same sweet grapefruit and ginger, but he gets six hours from Majesty against eight from Turathi Blue, though he prefers the Majesty drydown, which stays close to its opening where Turathi loses the citrus. So ‘better in every way’ is one person's view, not a consensus. And more practically: Majesty appears to be on its way out, discontinued in favour of Regent from the same collection. If you want it, buy it now; if you want something that will still be around, look at the Regent entry on our Sospiro Vibrato page. What it changes: rose and orris stand where Tygar has cardamom and magnolia, and it adds vetiver and tonka, so expect something more floral and warmer in the base. One reviewer settles both of our Maison Asrar placements in a single line: choose Majesty if you are after Tygar, choose Regent for Vibrato — both are incredible and you will not regret either. A batch warning worth having: one owner reports an August 2025 batch that barely projects at all, a skin scent confirmed by a friend who tried it, against everyone else's reports of strong longevity.
