Six shared notes, and three of them are the point: cognac, oak and praline are what make Angel's Share what it is, and finding all three together in one pyramid is close to a fingerprint. The cinnamon and vanilla come along too. On structure this is the most convincing match for Angel's Share we have found. It sits at our floor rather than higher for one reason, stated plainly: nobody has said it is an Angel's Share dupe. Fragrantica lists the two as related, but those sidebars are algorithmic recommendations rather than claims by anyone who has smelled both, and we do not treat them as evidence. So this rests on note structure alone — the weakest case we accept, and the same footing as Zimaya Oscar Platinum on our Bois Impérial page. What it adds is black pepper, lavender and orange, which should read brighter and sharper up top than the Kilian's warm boozy opening. Buy a decant before a bottle. One practical note: stock on this one is intermittent — it was showing as sold out at the retailer linked below when we last checked.
