The best evidence we have on this page comes from a Fragrantica reviewer who wrote about Inception first and then bought the Louis Vuitton, and came back to update the review: they now call it the closest dupe on the market, say the citrus opens stronger and more vibrant, and describe the drydown as identical to their nose. They also name what is missing, which is why this is not scored higher — the original keeps a refined, airy, blended quality that their bottle of Inception does not have. A decant seller who stocks both puts it above Arabiyat Marwa. Read the criticism before buying, because it is specific and it comes from owners: one reports that something in it smells off until it fully dries down, and does not settle even after a month of maceration, and several say longevity needs a generous application and a re-spray across a hot day.
