#1Bharara King EDP
Shares with the original: Orange, Bergamot, Fruity Notes, White Musk, Vanilla
The citrus-fruit-musk-vanilla shape of Erba Pura, built from seven notes against the original's nine. Five notes shared, including the whole citrus opening. What earns the score is that owners compare it directly and specifically. One says it smells very similar to Erba Pura but a shade more masculine, and calls the performance nuclear: twelve-plus hours on skin, and on clothes until they are washed. Another who owns both prefers it to Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold, finding that one strong but too fruity where this balances fruit, musk, citrus and vanilla and is far more wearable. Read the dissent: one buyer who had already disliked Amber Oud Gold bought this blind and found it identical, and returned to the same verdict. And take the performance warning seriously in the other direction — more than four sprays is too many.

#2Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition EDP
Shares with the original: Bergamot, Musk, Vanilla
The most recommended Erba Pura alternative on the market, and an eBay verified buyer puts it plainly: they honestly cannot tell the difference between this and the Xerjoff. A published comparison puts it at ninety to ninety-five per cent, with a less sharp opening and more warmth in the drydown. Only three notes match by name, and that undersells it — the fruity-musk-vanilla architecture is the same — but the difference is real and worth understanding: where Erba Pura lists a generic fruit accord, this is specifically melon and pineapple, which is why it reads more tropical and more sugary. That is also the basis of every complaint about it. Several owners find it simply too sweet, one sold their bottle over exactly that, and a reviewer who prefers Bharara King calls this one strong but too fruity. Performance reports also split: most call it a beast, but one verified buyer got only three to four hours.
